Ha ha ha ha haaaaa! Happy Independence Day!

Yeah it’s true, today we celebrate our Independence Day! But sadly because of our very good President Arroyo (there’s sarcasm when I say she is good ok!) she likes to change the dates of holidays for the convenience of having a long weekend and preventing lazy employees both from government and private company to absent themselves from work because a public holiday was sandwiched on work days!

I mean she has done this since she took over the presidency in 2002 and since then the essence of a day a very important day making it a public holiday loses it’s essence and meaning. Kids these days are no longer patriotic or at least know why a certain day is a public holiday because Arroyo change the dates for convinience.

Hah! I’m just blabbing, but honestly, there is no real Independence to celebrate because we are never really independent.

Even the aged 64 and above inmates that were given presidential pardon are not really free once they got released from prison because do I need to explain? Here’s their common predicament, senior citizens, jailed for years, no work, will somebody still take them to work knowing their age and where they’ve been? The family they left behind moved on without them for years now that they’re back what happens?

Ahhhh my morbid thoughts. Sorry.
