My mom is planning to either sell the old house or totally tear it out and make an apartment complex after we move out. I think that is the best plan ever because I feel she doesn’t really want to let go of this property because of the sentimental value attached to it. Well 20 years of stay has made a lot of good and bad memories.
It’s all good and I also agree about not letting the property go. The location is very good and can be developed into something lucrative. I think an apartment complex would be a good choice since housing is one of the basic needs and I don’t think the recession will be forever so its best to keep a few properties here and there.
I wish there is a reliable company we can hire from here like that of the San Jose remodeling, a company who specializes in major overhauls of old houses particularly the kitchen and bathroom area, removing or adding walls, updating electrical service, plumbing, lighting, flooring, ventilation, drywall, painting, finish carpentry and more. The old contractors my mom contacted before are not available anymore, and even if they are I don’t think we want to hire them again since they are not that good.
