Travel and food can not be separated from each other.  When a traveler visit another country it is very likely that he will also sample the local cuisine.   That way one can truly say they have traveled and experience a country’s history and rich culture.

But with the digital world expanding it’s horizon and literally shrinking the world, one does not need to spend a lot and travel to be able to taste the food from an exotic place.

All the food you need is now a few clicks away.”  That is the eFoodDepot.com promise. Gone were the days when you have to travel to a far away place to be able to taste the world’s delectable food.

Their website is user friendly and you can browse foods by origin, ethnicity, country and region.  Do you want to go American? Egyptian? European? You can find it all here. Mi Goreng Indomie Noodles
I chanced upon their indomie noodles and I wondered maybe the Department of Education (DepEd) will get the supply of noodles for their school feeding program here.  The price range from $0.44 to $0.68 a pack and when you convert that in peso it’s somewhere between P20-P22 pesos at current exchange rate.  If you would include the flat rate shipping of $4.99 then I guess they can justify the pricing for the noodles?

Local commercial noodles are sold at around P8.00 to P14.00 a pack so maybe the DepEd wants the public school kids to sample something exotic and imported.  By the way, Mi Goreng is Indonesia’s famous indomie noodle brand.

They are not limited to foods though you can also find kitchen and dining wares, housewares, medications and toys.
