Are you familiar with the rehabilitation of Nayong Pilipino in Pasay City? It is the project of Philippine Amusement Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to transform the place into the country’s Entertainment City.
One of the most ambitious and exciting project of Alliance Global and Star Cruise Limited is the Travelers International Hotel Group Inc. (Travelers International) is building the iconic structure that will symbolize the rich culture and heritage of the Philippines. The Entertainment Center Manila is expected to be the platform to showcase the best of what the Philippines can offer in arts and entertainment. The opening of the Entertainment Center Manila will spark a hotel and tourism boom never before seen in the country.

Aside from that the group will embark on a the development of the Newport City, an integration tourism city at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, that will hosts the country’s most modern and luxurious gaming facility. An iconic mall that will feature renowned fashion brands, a theater for the performing arts, a high-end cinema complex, an indoor plazza and two luxury hotels, the 342-room Marriott Hotel and the all-suites Maxims Hotel.
World renowned Getty’s Chicago will design the interiors of Maxims Hotel suites which will feature 172 Maxims suites, three villas and one presidential suite from the fourth to the eight floors. A personal butler will service all the suites, which start at a floor area of 54 square meters for the Maxims suite, a spacious 535 square meters for the villas and an expansive 652 meters for the presidential suite.
The three private villa residences with individual pools are planned for the fourth floor. The same floor will host a luxurious pool for the exclusive use of hotel guests.
The lower floors of the hotel will be allocated for the Newport Entertainment and Commercial Center (I heard there will be a glass dome roof). The new mall will feature signature brands at the ground floor, a performance stage at the second level and flour cinemas at the third floor.
Newport City is a 25-hectare residential, commercial and office development of Megaworld. At full development, the project will feature luxury residential condominium, shopping malls, restaurant strips, and business processing outsourcing (BPO) office condominium.

@ Badet yup Marriott is under construction na and will open soon as in soon. I agree I am loving this place na hindi pa man sya natatayo because it means more job for Filipinos talaga.
And I don’t take that crap that this will make Filipinos a slave on his own country. I think this is better than punta sila sa ibang country utang na sang katutak and get a measly salary and become second class citizens. At least dito sila sa Pilipinas near their family.

I heard this project months ago. This will be beneficial in our country as it will boost employment and once finished, we will be at par with other countries which have this kind of tourism amenities.
I believe that tourism, aside from BPO will be a great source of employment for the Filipino if only our government will manage this industry seriously.
