Honestly I was not familiar about the movie until I heard that Sandra Bullock won the 67th Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in this movie The Blind Side. I am glad that Ria was able to convince me to go watch the screening with her at Gateway last Friday. The movie will be shown in Philippine Cinemas on January 27, 2009.
This is another feel good movie that I recommend everyone to watch. Another of the best family movie you should watch with your kids. It teaches them to see the good side in everyone and not to be judgmental of people. What’s great about this film is that it is a true-to-life story.
The Blind Side Movie Info:
Is a true-to-life story of an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick, Michael Oher, who was lucky to be helped by a loving Christian Family the Tuohy’s after going a rough childhood being homeless and badly traumatized from his separation from her mom and siblings.
The movie runs 128 minutes and is rRated PG-13 for one scene involving brief violence, drug and sexual references. But overall the movie is highly-recommended for all ages.

The movie started slow in the beginning as any other biography movie would but as the story progresses it tunes you in to it and makes you more interested about how everything turns-out.
I have no idea who Michael Oher was for real never heard of him since I was not an NFL fan. But after seeing the footages and photos after the movie I was super impressed.
Everyone needs real life angles like the Tuohy family so that people will be able to reach their full potential and have a better future.
