Neutrogena Fine Fairness Cream Review

Did you know that aside from keeping the face moisturized and repair lost moisture on your skin at night there’s another use for the Neutrogena Fine Fairness Cream?

I have a combination skin depending on the weather when its too cold it gets normal to dry and when its too hot it gets normal to oily.  So when it turned relatively cold here in Manila I only occasionally used the Neutrogena Fine Fairness Toner and a make up remover.   Instead I used the Neutrogena Fine Fairness Cream as my makeup remover.

Neutrogena Fine Fairness Cream

Product info (from the package)
The Neutrogena Fine Fairness Cream is a daily whitening cream that helps protect skin agains the appearance of melanin to give you an even, transluscent skin tone and long lasting moisturizing for healthy, fair with a rosy glow.  Whitening Complex with exclusive Soy works within the skin’s surface to boost the whitening process, while helping to reduce the appearance of whitening and pigmentation and helping to protect new skin cells to form melanin. Its Oil-Free and non-comedogenic.

How to use as a makeup remover?

Just liberally apply the cream on the face and swipe with a cotton ball or a facial tissue. Repeat application on stubborn makeup (especially the waterproof ones).   The wash face with cleanser then apply a thin layer of cream again on face and neck before going to bed. Its highly recommended you use after cleansing because you need to keep your face moisturized and remember that oil and moisture are two different things. What gives acne is the excessive oil and dirt from the face and that’s what most acne treatment do cleans and remove excess oil from the face.

dirty cotton balls
Look how effective the cream was able to lift off all the makeup from my face (foundation, face powder, and liquid eyeliner!)

While the cream was specifically made for overnight moisturizing and whitening/lightening this discovery just made me super extra happy because I have an alternative makeup remover than those of the ones that are usually alcohol base and are drying.

Stay gorgeous everyone!
