So, it was indeed a Vera Wang custom made gown for Kim Kardashian’s wedding dress.
She changed dresses thrice. One for the ceremony, where Kim wore an ivory ballgown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand pieced Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and train with a pair of sky-high Guiseppe Zanottis.
Later, she changed into an ivory georgette mermaid gown, just like what I predicted here but with more Chantilly lace on the bodice, and organza petals and “spring embroidery” on the skirt. Then at the wedding party that was cut short because of annoyed neighbors, Kim wore an ivory bias-cut satin gown with a deep V and a circle skirt.
The rest of the clan wore mermaid cut dresses in ivory also made by Vera Wang. Uhmmm the ribbon on Mommy Kardashian looks bow-y!
Other details of the wedding. The Humphries-Kardashian wedding cake is a 6-foot tallk cake that was copied from the Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding. Kris and Kim’s first dance was Robin Thicke’s “Angels”. Included in the 450 guests were Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Alan Thicke, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kathy Lee Gifford, Greta Van Sustren, Avril Lavigne, and Dina, Ali and Lindsay Lohan—perhaps the most motley crew of celebrities ever assembled!
So, what do you think of the Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries wedding and her plan of changing her last name to that of her husband?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
