List Of Relief Operations in the Philippines Accepting Donations (Cash or Kind) & Volunteers

Another devastating day happened yesterday in Metro Manila and nearby provinces as heavy and non-stop rain showers more than 550mm caused widespread flood.   It was hard to mobilize and get everyone moving on a very unstable day yesterday and so most of the relief operations will go full-swing today until the next few days or even weeks.   I’ve compiled the list of relief operations in the Philippines who are accepting cash and material donations and volunteers are very much needed and welcome!
Just a reminder for material donations, it is highly encouraged for donors to give/send the following
  1. cooked food or easy to prepare food
  2.  clothing (shirts, shorts or pants, clean underwear),
  3. towels,
  4.  potable drinking water,
  5. medicines

    SAFETY REMINDERS!
There are still flood and not passable roads as of today. It looks like the rain has no plans of stopping and the weather still looks gloomy outside. Better remain safe and dry than be the one that needed rescue and relief.

If you are home and safe and dry. Stay that way. You can help even if you are home:
    1) Share in your social network news of those who need rescue or relief
    2) Send your donations online if you have credit card (or Paypal much safer) to those accepts online donations.

    3) Ask for pickup of your donations if you want to give something to those who are okay with picking up your donations.

You can do more for the good of your countrymen if you stay safe and dry.

    Stay gorgeous everyone!

Thank you for this list. I was looking for drop-off points nearby…haven’t checked with the parish and I am not currently connected to any school. De La Salle Canlubang will be it for me.

Hi there, good morning. What a detailed and timely blog. Netizens will surely benefit from this one, especially those looking to help in the relief work.

On another matter, please tell me more about the profile of Bloggers United. How many members does it have? Where is it based? How does it operate?

    Your reply highly appreciated.
