I’m a fan of weddings. I’ve been blogging about celebrity weddings and who wore what wedding gowns for years. I just love weddings. Maybe because I’m obsessed with it and I’ll never have one ever Hah! LOL! Anyway, everyone was surprised this weekend, some were even heart broken (those who have big crushes for the Green Lantern lead stars and Gossip Girls It girl) when the news about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds spread all over the net. Most were busy with something else and most were not expecting because nobody said anything! I’m sure you all want to see what Blake Lively wore on her wedding and who made her wedding dress. What’s the set-up and how did the couple looked!
This is the photo release for the wedding but this is not the wedding photo of Blake and Ryan! We heard that Lively and Reynolds wedding photos will not be released until December this year! Booo!
But I heard Blake Lively wore a Marchesa gown for her wedding. I has always been her favorite. I can’t wait to see it. But here is one Marchesa gown she wore from a previous event:
So, the wedding details according to Martha Stewart blog. The wedding was very intimate and very personal as only immediate family and extended family members were invited. The wedding took place in a rustic barn in South Carolina. Ryan chose the venue. The bride and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle in custom Marchesa gowns designed by Blake’s friends, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, with shoes created for the celebration by Christian Louboutin. The groom and groomsmen wore specially made Burberry suits with custom leather suspenders designed by the groom’s friend, Christopher Bailey. The couple exchanged unique wedding rings by Lorraine Schwartz.
I admire celebrities who try to keep a low profile by hosting such private wedding, after all it is a personal affair that was not meant to be a carnival. Congratulations and Best Wishes to the couple!
How about you what do you think of private A-lister wedding surprises?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
