Modern Art Deco Inspired Room Makeover

I’ve been staring at this blank screen since yesterday and I couldn’t put to words what I have in mind. All I know is I want to tell you about the makeover I am doing now in my bedroom. I was actually inspired by a couple of restaurants and boutiques I’ve visited in the past where lovely monochrome art deco wall paper accentuated an interior. I told myself I’ll get me one of those wallpaper for my room.

Fortunately, during a trip at Ace Hardware, where I bought some replacement bulb for my lamp, I decided to look around the wall paper section and there lay a couple of pretty wallpaper design that I can’t resist but buy!

To cut the story short, I bought a couple rolls and installed in my bedroom, ergo an instant modern art deco inspired room makeover! Tada!

I installed the Monochrome Art Decal wall paper at the left side wall of my room, the side where I think needed more ooomph in my room.

The wallpaper looked really good and it matches the new bedsheet and comforter I just bought at the Homeworld sale recently! I’m glad I did not have a son or he would have pursued me to go sporty in the bedroom and buy the nfl bedding sets that are on sale as well.

I’m glad I got a daugter who appreaciates the things I like, she was actually the one who picked the wallpaper design, seriously! I was aiming for the butterflies and flowers she liked the furs and ferns. Then I saw this lovely Hollywood superstar pillowcases, female icons Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe!
