When I posted about receiving a Moringa-02 Malunggay Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner with Argan Oil at my Instagram account, a follower asked if this can be used for color treated and rebonded hair.
Before I divulge my verdict, let me tell you more first about the Moringa-O2 Hair Care line.
Moringa-O² Hair Care Line (Moringa-O2 Malunggay Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner) is the one and only herbal hair care line in the country with the power of nature’s skin multi-vitamins – Malunggay, Olive Oil and Omega (from Sunflower Oil). Now infused with equally powerful beauty oil, Argan Oil, it provides a complete hair and scalp care system.
It is said to:
Provides gentle cleansing
Helps stimulate hair growth
Moisturizes and softens
DDs Virginia hair
- I used the Moringa-O2 Shampoo on my DD’s virgin hair (not treated, colored, permed or any hair treatment and styling) and I saw how the shampoo gently cleanses but does not strip the hair of its natural moisture and oil. My DDs hair looks very shiny and when I shampoo it on her, it feels soft and smooth. When dried, her hair looks very healthy and shinny as well. I don’t even need to use the Moringa-O2 Conditioner on her as her hair is still smooth and shiny and never feels dry or looks dull.
- My hair is color treated and it gets a beating from me because I blowdry and use the curling iron every time I go out which is almost everyday. I feel it rescued my hair from getting very brittle and dull as my hair feels soft and glossy. It doesn’t strip my hair of what’s moisture and natural oil left on it. Plus it makes my hair stronger minimizes drying and as for the color it did not affect the color but in fact it made my hair color more vibrant. I use both the shampoo and conditioner as color treated hair needs more hair care product than virgin hair.
- I can’t say about rebonded hair as I never had my hair rebonded ever. But with how my hair and my DD’s hair got more healthier with the Moringa-O2 hair care line, I don’t think it will do any harm as it is all-natural product. But to be sure ask your hair stylist/technician, I may be wrong.
