NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion (Whitening) Review

NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion Whitening, yup, in-shower body lotion, have you tried it before?

My usual bath ritual includes putting on lotion after I towel-dry but more often than not, I forget to put on lotion because I was doing other things and by the time I remember I did not put on lotion, I already left the house — yes, I don’t bring lotion with me wherever I go (fact!)

I have heard of the NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion since 3rd quarter last 2015, some raved about how #goodweird the product is but I never get to try it for myself then. Just recently, SampleRoom sent me a bottle to try out for review and so here is how my experience with it went.

NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion Whitening

NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion review

What I think of it?  (scoring is 1-5 gorgeous points 1 being the lowest 5 being the highest)

Moisturizing Properties:  4
Like I said, I often forget to put on lotion after bath so my skin dry and looks dry.  After drying myself off after using this product, I don’t feel the need to use lotion anymore as my skin feels hydrated with it.
Softer Skin: 4
My skin feels softer indeed with it but since I have not used it that long (just a few days) I think the softening is just topical at the moment, I still see some dryness and dullness of my skin.
Convenience: 4
While it is packaged in an upsidedown shower bottle, the product is kinda hard to squeeze out of the bottle because it is a little bit hard.  Maybe it needs to be in a softer bottle for easier use.  I squezed too hard I got too many but good thing I was in the shower so I that I applied it all over even onto my heels and tummy and as far as I can reach my back and rinsed it off immediately with cool water from the shower.  Rinsing off took time because I have this #goodweird feeling that I have not rinsed well because its a lotion.   It feels like I still have soap/bodywash or hair conditioner on my skin even if I rinsed very well.

Overall Experience:4

It was a #goodweird experience using NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion (Whitening).  Good because I don’t need to put on lotion after taking a bath so it was convenient for someone who forgets to put on lotion after drying off and getting dress.  Weird because like what I said while in the shower I feel like I did not rinse well because of the feeling of a conditioner on my body because its still slippery.  The feeling I get after using it is that it feels like a NIVEA cold cream except its on my body.

Do I recommend it?
Sure, especially if you are forgetful putting on lotion after taking a bath and you love NIVEA products!
