What to Pick: Belo BB Cream or Belo Tinted Sunscreen My Review (First Impressions)

There’s two new Belo products that got me very curious the Belo Intense Whitening BB Cream Kojic Acid + Tramexamic Acid SPF50+++ and the Belo Sunexpert Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreen SPF50+++. It got me curious because it has two of my most important skincare concerns, anti-aging and sun protection.

While I am not afraid of the sun or to get dark, I am afraid of the damaging UV rays that makes your skin look old and dry . It’s more of vanity and well I want to look good and ageless. Using sunscreen for me is more of not wanting to look old and dry and not really about not wanting to get dark or get skin cancer (which is a result of careless and long exposure to the harmful UV rays of the sun).

The Belo Intensive whitening BB Cream Kokic Acid + Tramexamic Acid SPF50+++ is a good makeup base and good for daily use at work, events, date night or wherever. It covers blemishes and imperfections and also works to intensively whiten skin. You can use it alone for a flawless no makeup look with dewy effect or layer under you favorite foundation or makeup.

The Belo Sunexpert Perfecting Sield Tintend Sunscreen SPF50+++ is good for those going on outdoor activities and get th superior sun protection plus the flawless no makeup look you want. You can use this alone for instant perfecting coverage or you can also use this to layer under your favorite foundation or powder.

Here’s a video while applying it on my face side-by-side

What I think about it?
Coverage:

Belo BB Cream has very light to medium coverage, when use alone it gives you that flawless no makeup look with the dewy effect on. It depends on what kind of coverage and effect you want. Some people like the dewy effect some don’t . If you don’t like dewy effect then you can use your favor foundation or powder on top of it.

Belo Tinted Sunscreen has medium to full coverage even when used alone. It had dewy to matte effect but more on matte. I like this better because I don’t like my face looking shiny and shimmery (well in the Philippines shiny/dewy shimmery is always associated with oiliness and oiliness is next to uglyness lolz!).

Belo BB Cream Belo Tinted Suncreen review

Texture:

Belo BB Cream has a very liquid texture more fluid and very very light. I think you better point the tube straight on your face to avoid it running off / spilling off. It gets absorbed by the skin fast so you need to use more.

Belo Tinted Sunscreen has creamy texture like a normal sunscreen/ lotion/ foundation doesn’t run off or spill off. It looks thicker probably because of the sunscreen and tint combined together (which I like).

Sunprotection:

Belo BB Cream and Belo Tinted Sunscreen has the same SPF50+++ so it gives same protection level. As far as I’m concerned I love Belo sunscreens and I believe because it’s Belo its a Filipino brand and it is perfect for Filipina skin.

Overall

I like that the Belo BB Cream and the Belo Tinted Sunscreen don’t make me look oily even when prolonged use and worn after Zumba. It doesn’t feel sticky or greasy. Doesn’t feel warm and feels light.

Do I recommend it?
Yes. I recommend Belo BB Cream to wear on your daily grind while Belo Tinted Sunscreen when your out on a vacation and plan to do outdoor activities like biking, swimming, trekking, running etc! But of course there’s a sunscreen for heavy outdoor activities , I found a sunscreen with SPF130 and it’s incredible! I will save that on another post!
