It was literally like a kid in a toystore, only better. Because all the characters you just see on the comic books and watch on television come to life and there’s no better feeling than being able to immense yourself in a world you only thought can exist in your dreams.
The first day of Toycon Philippines 2016, which is running for 15 years in the country, had their major milestone. This was the first time they finally had international artist/ characters come over and have that incredible Toycon experience like they do in the states because they partnered with Pop Life Entertainment this year.
Imagine they were able to get Lois and Clark Superman, Game of Thrones Hodor, Starwars Boba Fett, Twilight Saga pack of wolves and have Stan Lee over a live Skype on top of the list!
I still can’t believe until the very last minute that I will be able to see up close and personal the Superman I grew up watching on TV, like breathe the same air, walk in the same room and yes hold him and have a photo with him! It was insane! It was all surreal to have finally seen a Superman in real life, Dean Cain of Lois and Clark and now the father of Supergirl in the series Supergirl. This was my fan moment here no words can describe this moment but I was in the right place and the right time.

Another larger than life actor Toycon Philippines was able to import this year was one of Game of Thrones most loved character and fave meme Hodor Kristian Nairn. He was in the stage sitting in the famous GOT throne and we all can tell how delighted he was for such an awesome introduction. It was funny how he told us he never knew why his name was Hodor in Game of Thrones until that episode when he died there, and yes he was holding the door, but he held many doors on the set to get that scene perfect! Hodor, Hodor!!!

The actor who played the Young Boba Fett at Starwars was also here at Toycon Philippines 2016, Daniel Logan, who said getting that role and being part of the biggest Starwars franchise was the best thing that happened in his life. If he was to become a part of another iconic movie franchise he would like to be in Harry Potter too because he thinks the fans of Harry Potter are all good looking, haha!
Two from the pack of wolves of the Twilight Saga was also here for Toycon Philippines 2016 Pop Life Experience! Bronson Pelletier and Kiowa Gordon were a bunch of fun loving guys as they set the stage on fire with their crazy dance moves and silly stories about being in the set of Twilight. How the nips get too hard to be able to engrave things, to showing us the wolf pack howl they do. Oh yeah Brandon handed me His gold watch, and his mic. I’ll leave what happens next to your imagination! Hah!
Frankie J performed for us, making everyone dance ans sing to his magnificent voice.
Of course Toycon is not Toycon without this year’s main exhibit, the Stan Lee hall where all his best works with autographs were displayed. Yes, Avengers, Captain America, Thor, Deadpool, Ironman among many others. Watch this clip as a sneak peek.
Toycon Philippines 2016 Pop Life Fan Experience we be on for the entire weekend June 10-12,2016 at the SMX Convention center. Ticket price is Php800.00 for a two day pass. Not bad at all, this year’s Toycon is huge, big area for exhibit, for toy collection buying, for life size play rooms and get your autpgrap sign from. Your favorite artist!
So much to do in there, so many things to experience. Just come and be. I bet you will have a good time as I did. Oh yeah, Superman, Hodor, the pack of wolves, young Bubba Fett, Frankie J will all be there the entire weekend.
