Recently we flew to Bohol on-board an AirAsia flight and in there two World Vision celebrity ambassador spoke in-flight to tell passengers about how flying with AirAsia help World Vision kids #SeetheWorld.
See the World is a fund raising initiative that aims to raise one million pesos (Php1M) to provide sponsorship program for many children as direct recipients across the country. The initiatibe sets that for everh AirAsia seats booked or sold in the Philippines from December 1 to 31 2017 , five pesos (Php5) will be automatically donated tl World Vision Child Sponsorship program.
Tippy Dos Santos and Gretchen Ho were the celebrity ambassadors on our flight who told passengers about this info. They also were on that flight to Bohol to see some of the beneficiary children of World Vision program.
I was with them when they met some kids in Barangay Oy, Loboc, Bohol to give inspiration to the kids to oursue their education and secure a better future.
It was such a heartwarming trip as kids were very enthusiastic and thankful for the gift of education World Vision has provided them. They promised to be good in school so as the sponsorship will not be put to waste.
AirAsia Regional Chief Operating Officer Pete ChReonwongski said the collaboration between AirAsia and World Vision is part of their Christmas program which also represents another step forward in the company’s commitment to the philosophy that no corporation can live apart from the community it serves.
World Vision Philippines National Director Rommel Fuerte was very grateful of the initiative as this can ensure that every peso that will be donated to World Vision will help a lot of underprivileged Filipino children strain their dreams of a better life.
