Both the constituent parts of this scrub are well known for their unique properties, and how they combine to make a potent cleansing and moisturizing amalgamation! However, this is not the extent of their benefits, since the lemon juice washes away dead cells from the top layer of akin, while the honey brightens the skin and provides a protective layer against UV rays.

To make the scrub, simply mix together one tablespoon of lemon juice, two tablespoons of honey, one tablespoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of sugar. Gently apply to relatively cleansed skin and rub slowly, making sure to cover the entire face, with no skin left untreated. Leave on for several minutes and gently rinse off the scrub with lukewarm water.

Banana, Egg and Cider Mask for Oily Skin

If you suffer from oily skin then you probably know the struggles of skincare, day in and day out. Oily skin, in particular excessively oily skin can be quite problematic to manage, since it requires some drastic treatments and lots of patience.

The best way then is to use a face mask made of the finest natural oil reducing ingredients. Here is just such a mask.

To make this, combine an egg white, a ripe banana and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. You can also use orange or lime juice, in place of the apple cider vinegar; although it is better to use the vinegar. Blend the ingredients together and apply the resulting paste on to your skin gently. Do not get this mixture in your eye and leave it on for 10 to 12 minutes. Rinse off gently with lukewarm water and leave the skin to dry naturally.
This mask is also effective at reducing acne from the face and preventing it from breaking out.
