Those who follow my instagram and twitter account already have a sneak preview of my summer 2013 travel essentials. But for those who don’t or want a detailed info about everything I just shared on my social network sites here are the things I pack with me when I go to the beach for a couple of days minimum of 2 nights!

Yes, I still wear makeup on the beach, but as minimal as possible. This year I discovered a couple new products that is so perfect for outdoors.
Summer Skincare and Hair Care Essentials
Too much sun exposure is bad. It’s not just sunburn but it may cause skin cancer and/or make your skin age faster. Better protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun by packing a good amount of sunscreens and sunblock. Keep the skin and hair moisturized as well by packing day and night creams lotions and hair serums!

Even if I already found my HG mascara, I won’t stop discovering and trying out new ones so I could satisfy my own curiosity I’ve heard a lot of raves about Maybelline’s The Falsies Volume Express mascara but I haven’t got the chance to try it out personally until now. I’ve tried a number of Maybelline mascaras and some of them delivers, in fact one of the Volume Express product is one of my favorite.

Do I recommend it?
Its not that bad but not that great either. I can attest to the waterproof and volume. Just make sure to apply it as fast as possible and avoid air or facing the fan or aircon as it dries really really fast. I’ve never seen a fast-drying mascara like this before!

Office workers, especially those who work in a very strict corporate setting, University students, and moms find the red lipstick way too loud to wear on a daily basis. Red lipstick is something some of us would consider to use on special occasion. I’ve been asked by a lot of readers about the best mascara out there that gives volume and curl effortlessly, all I can think about is the Maybelline Hello Kitty Volum Express Hypercurl Cats Eyes Mascara that gives this not just volume and curl but length as well. Too bad it was a limited edition mascara, so it’s not out in the market. There are other versions but I haven’t tried them yet. Anyway, if someone will ask me of a mascara that gives that “falsies” look, I can fib about this one, the Fairy Drops Volume Burst Mascara!

October was a busy month for socializing online and offline. My unprecedented weight loss has given me very little option with my outfit lately, most of my clothes don’t look very nice on me now that I’m so skinny and this is an all time record skinny level low. I can’t fill my skinny jeans no more and as much as I was starting to like wearing skirts and shorts lately, I need to shy away from it because my legs are looking way too thin to display. All I have, to at least be able to level with all my fashionista friends is to create an eye makeup look with an impact or wear statement lip color or nails. Which goes without saying my October 2012 Favorite Beauty Finds mainly compose of nail colors and eye and lip color that is worthy of all praises.
