I don’t know about you but as soon as the date turned 1st of March, the Metro Manila city heat just turned up a notch higher. It is definitely summer even if our weather bureau PAG-ASA did not declare it yet. With that said, I am prepping myself for those fun days spent at the beach to get wet and “wild” with fun over and under water adventure that is to come and is set on my calendar.
So, I was booked for a Laser Light Underarm Hair Removal treatment and a Firming Facial at Facial Care Center (FCC) so I will be more confident in showing more skin than usual in my bikini perhaps? Teehee! Who knows!

My face was totally a wreck the past few weeks. I’ve been having a lot of break-outs and pimples are just coming out of nowhere everywhere and its very annoying and very yucky! So, I needed a very very good facial ASAP! They gave me a firming facial at FCC too! Yay!

The blogosphere online and offline made a lot of noise this year that even the traditional media took notice and talked/featured bloggers very frequently this 2012. Some were good news, some were just downright below-the-belt. I think it is a way to acknowledge that blogs and bloggers are definitely influencing the opinion and behaviour of the society no matter how hard we resist it.
Even the numbers of blogs and bloggers increased to an incredible amount. But despite the spike in numbers, I thank all my supportive readers and blog followers for always being there for me. Another makeup I was abke to pkay with this rainy day weekend was the Wet ‘N Wild I Dream of Greenie Coloricon Trio palette. I had for a coupke of months already. I was inspired by the green eyeshadow look I saw at the L’Oreal Holiday 2012 Lookbook and decided to create my own look inspired by it.
This was the eye makeup I came up with, pretty shades of Green because Green Is definitely IN!
This is the eyeshadow palette I used
I love the different shades of Green on this palette and I also love how pigmented it is. My only problem is that the.color doesn’t last as my eyeshadow started to fade after a few.hours wearing it. But I think you can make the look last longer if you wear eye primer before applying.
So here’s how this palette looks on my eyes:

Oh! I finished the look with a coral shade of lipstick and blush on staying true to the rule that when the eyes is dramatic tone down on the rest of your makeup.

LA Colors Cosmetics is one of the imported yet inexpensive makeup brands I have encountered from the U.S. The product was imported by Sprint Asia Beauty here in the Philippines. I love this brand because they offer a lot of shades of eye and lip makeup that you can hoard as many palette and shade as you want.

I highly recommend the LA Colors Metallic Eye Shadow palettes. At Php169.00 per palette you can already play with a lot of color option for your adventurous makeup explorations.
If you are new to the world of makeup, I suggest you explore on the cheaper brands first before buying the expensive ones. It will be a lot easier to experiment with inexpensive brands and you can be generous with the color application. You can practice a lot of look or techniques with the cheaper makeup brands first. You can invest on the expensive makeup brands later when you become a master and decide to enroll in a makeup class to get that certificate that will earn you the makeup artist title.

Hello gorgeous peeps, sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been so busy attending to personal stuff and blogger duties that when I get home I’d rather sleep than do a blog post. Don’t worry June will be a slow down month for events so I will have a lot of time for catching up. For now I would like to thank everyone who went to the BU3 bazaar last Saturday, June 2, 2012. Even it was raining cats and dogs and Typhoon Ambo was visiting us there were a lot of people who went out of their way to support the Bloggers United Bazaar and shop to their hearts content.

There are things I would rather have other people do for me than I do it myself. Among them is doing my nails. I’m just sloppy doing it myself and well it a sort of therapy when somebody else do my nails. However, I can’t always go to a nail salon because of time and/or budget constraints so I’m glad when I get nail polishes I can play with or use when in dire need to cover-up my nails. I was given two shades of Wet ‘N Wild Megalast Nail Color, one is the Break The Ice and the other one is Sugar Coat.
