Hair & Makeup Makeover @ Tony Galvez With The EG Makeover Winner

Yesterday was a very very busy day for me, but I’m not complaining. I met four of the Earthlingorgeous 5th Blogversary Dream Makeover winners. Three of them to hand down their prizes, and one of them to take her to the hair and makeover date with the Tony Galvez.

My winner was Jaja Ferreria-Villanueva and look what Mr. Tony Galvez did to her!

Jaja had super black super long hair. Mr. Galvez cut her hair to a layered medium length hairstyle and lightened her hair to a medium brown shade.

He also gave her a makeup look that is easy to do on a daily basis. Just some heavy eyeliner and falsie, contour on her cheeks and barely there shade lips!

I’m so happy with her before and after look! You can actually see the difference! I lifted this photo from Jaja’ Facebook profile I’m glad she put it in there looks like she liked it too!

EG Makeover Date With The Winner

Last Wednesday, May 16, 2012, I and the wife of the EG Dream Makeover Contest winner went on a date so she could fully experience the EG Makeover with our makeover sponsors The Blounge, Beauty and Butter, Shu Uemura, and SM Ladies Fashion.

I was personally excited to see the change we can do for the winner because I want to make the husband who nominated her for the contest be happy with her wife’s new look. I also want the wife to look and feel great after the makeover. I made sure for us not to impose a look on her that she could not actually see herself wearing even after the makeover and I was so glad to see that both of them were happy with the result.

I grabbed this collage of the makeover from Iris, who is incidentally is a blogger friend I’ve known since I started attending blog events in the Philippines. Mind you I did not choose her because she is a friend, I choose her because the husband Montch’s entry was very deserving of the win: (read his touching winning entry here)

The Blounge is located at Mother Ignacia St. Quezon City, just across ELJ Tower near ABS-CBN: Each station at The Blounge has free iPad for your use while getting your hair trimmed, treated or colored!

Then we head off to SM Makati to get her some clothes at the SM Ladies Wear section. I did not push Iris to wear something she is not comfortable with but I also convinced her to wear a different cut and print top for her to accentuate her nice shoulders and less emphasis on the parts she did not like. So we got this top from Red Jeans one of the brand under SM Ladies Fashion.

This is my first EG Makeover project for this blog and hopefully will not be the last because I surely enjoyed every second of the makeover especially when I see how happy Iris and Montch was with the result! Now tell me with the right makeup and outfit does anyone need a plastic surgery Montreal? I don’t think so!
