I got to hand it to that guy (Simon) he is so truthful that he says what other people is really thinking. I’m so happy, ooops that’s an understatement, I was so ecstatic (as in jumping for joy and doing the running man and the happy dance) when I found out Kristie was eliminated! YAY!
No offense meant to her or her fans, but I really didn’t like her from the very start. She has good voice, actually she impressed me on her Mariah Carey performance of Forever, but I don’t feel her. She was always on the bottom three and by who knows what and how she always got saved. But now, she won’t because it’s a tough competition she got on the Top 7.

Anyway, have you heard David Cook’s performance? It’s so WOW! I was like OMG! OMG! OMG! He is definitely it! He was one of my favorites from the very start, he gives justice to every song he does and right on with Simon’s comment again: It was like coming out of a Karaoke hell into a breathe of fresh air … You are original, daring; it you stood out by a mile… this is a sign of a of a potential artist… you are ready to make a recording.
I fell in love with David’s song too. It’s so manly and so sexy and so WOW! He made Always Be My Baby different and original far from Mariah’s version. Listen to this one if you missed it, and you will hear what I mean. It’s so awesome! Brilliant!
David gave me chills with this performance. He even cried (well not really cried but misty eyed) at the end of the judges comments. I agree with Paula Abdul, this song could actually make it to a Movie soundtrack. He is definitely IT! David Cook deserves to be the next American Idol.
