Last Saturday, Globe launched it’s latest innovation, a prepaid sim that incorporporates what the people of the new generation needs, the Globe Tattoo prepaid sim that can be used for call, text and to surf the internet.
The event was held at Handle Bar in Jupiter Street in Makati with the M-Cafe in Glorietta as the starting point of the program. Bloggers went to a convoy of vans with big bikes as the frontliners where some bloggers even rode with them. Imagine the difference of both bars. One was a high-end classy type while the other was come-as-you-are loud and anything goes! Definitely we were transported to something that is totally opposites.
Anyway, I’m sure you are wondering what is this Immortaltext all about. Simply put it’s a prepaid text load that doesn’t expire ergo immortal. To avail of this service all you have to do is load Php 10 and text Immortal to 2888. Just make sure you have a Php1 maintaining balance to use this for eternity.
Text Services
The new Globe Tattoo sim still have the unlimited text Php 20 for 1 day, Pho 40 for 2 days and Php 80 for 5 days. Just text Unlitext20/40/80 to 8888. And the Everybody text 20 which is a 200 to Globe/TM networks and 20 text to other networks for Php20 a day. Just text Etxt<space> 20 to 8888.
FYI though all this new services is only available with the new sim cards so you have to dish out your old prepaid numbers or get a new phone to use this one.
Call Services
The all-time favorite call offers such as the unlimited call from 11PM to 6AM for Php20, just text UNYT<space>20 to 8888. Tawag 236, a Php20 call for 20 minutes to any Globe/TM network, just replace the 0 (zero) the first number that you want to call with 236.
Online Services
The Surf All Day for P20 is an unlimited mobile surfing of Friendster, Facebook or Plurk with free unlimited access to Ping.fm. To register just visit any of this sites on your mobile phone: Facebook http://m.facebook.com; Friendster http://m.friendster.com and; Plurk: http://m.plurk.com
Mobile Internet/Surfing where you can use your mobile phone to surf the web via GPRS or 3G for Php5 for 15 minutes. Just text Time to 1111 to activate the time-based charging of Php5 for 15 minutes.
We also got the first dibs at Globe Youniverse an interactive widget based virtual world Globe created where one can interact with their users, post complaints about the Globe services, and more. well i bought that sim but i cannot use it on my 6120 classic. And when i read the terms it only allowed a 900GSM phone unit??? so how can i use it
