“Fortunate, indeed, is the man who takes exactly the right measure of himself and holds a just balance between what he can acquire and what he can use.”– Peter Latham
Honestly, I feel guilty about spending or doing something fun today because of the recent calamities (man-made or otherwise) that hit our country one after the other. But then again not doing anything would mean a life and time wasted. So I’ll just enjoy and keep claiming all the blessings that comes my way and give back by means of donating in any way I can (cash or kind or goods).
Just like finding the good that our Miss Philippines Ariella Arida representative for the Miss Universe 2013 won the 2nd princess title / 2nd runner up. That’s something to celebrate her there are 100 vying for the title we got top 3 position!
If you can’t be there where the calamities struck to help out you can do so even at home. Send donations to your favorite charity or a group you support.
Personally, I plan to assemble a box of clothes and personal hygiene stuff to donate. You can too they accept clothes, blankets, towels and anything useful. Pre-loved clothes , blankets and towels will be freshly laundered by Electrolux Philippines so no need to feel ashamed of sending stuff that smells like “kulob”.

All we can do is find the balance and live!
Stay gorgeous everyone!

ah, Dec 10 na ba ang next Mommy Mundo Bazaar? i thought Dec. 8?
This is an innovative way of helping the earthquake victims of Bohol! Kudos to Mommy Mundo Bazaar and Electrolux! May their tribes increase so that many of our kababayans will get the help they need.
Hi Marielle, let me get back to you on this, maybe they have a separate project for this. Thanks!
Miss Earth, is the clothes donation only going to the victims of Bohol earthquake? I planned to do an online preloved clothes sale sana but I’d rather donate it. It’s just that I want it to share to the victims of the typhoon Yolanda as well.
