Last February 1 and 2, DC and Res|Toe|Run held the second leg of their Urban Kids Fair, this time at the Trinoma Activity Center. An afternoon filled with “astig” activities that were especially prepared for the kids and enjoyed by everyone. Giving the kids the first hand of what DC urban lifestyle is all about, coupled with an appetite for cool kicks offered by Res|Toe|Run.
The action-packed kids fair allowed the young ones to try various activities such as micro scooters with the help of the DC and Res|Toe|Run Team, explored the creative side of the kids by painting DC ceramic skateboard decks and posing for a coolest skate shot of a lifetime through a green screen photo booth. Other activities in Rumble Yard include balancing in Gyro boards, Xbox gaming, Bounce in inflatable and grab some shoes in through a catcher machine.
Participating kids and their families were able to experience an exciting world of action sports through the Urban Kids Fair that is designed and outlined creatively and in a kid-friendly environment.
“We want to embody the fun, active and exciting lifestyle of the youth today and join them as well through Rumble Yard,” says Edilyn Yu, Res|Toe|Run Brand Associate. “There’s an energetic side in all of us, from parents down to the kids, and this is what we wish to relive through the fun-filled weekend.”
“The idea of putting up an action-packed event came to us as we wanted kids to enjoy the same quality time they have with their parents as they enter Res|Toe|Run and we wanted to bring them out of the store and into a playground made especially for them, thus Rumble Yard,” shared Dale Camandang, Res|Toe|Run’s Marketing Officer.
“We want to make this experience worthwhile for families as they enjoy each activity in Rumble Yard. Make this event an unforgettable bonding experience of each family and go home with fulfilled, one of a kind weekend experience that worth reminiscing.” – Vianca Tan, DC Brand Associate.
Passport passes were given to the kids upon entering the fair, as they will be able to get special prizes once they were able to finish all the booth activities. Likewise, kids wearing DC shoes are able to enjoy exclusive perks such as freebies and DC cupcakes and biscuits to make their fair experience complete. Special games and raffle prizes were also conducted in the program that was held from 4 to 5PM at the activity area.
Rumble yard is made possible by Trinoma Activity Center, Kettle Korn, Dong A, Dental First, Faber Castell, New Zealand Ice Cream, Off Lotion, Krispy Kreme, Timezone, Backjoy, Ayala Malls, Manila Bulletin, Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Philippine Star, K-Zone, Travel Life and Smart Parenting.
