I am totally envious of the transportation hubs in Kuala Lumpur aside from being clean, organized (despite the number of people going to and fro), it is spacious and it’s so easy to get lost in the area without having to feel worrisome. How I wish our airports and terminals are like theirs!
First stop the airport, Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2, also known as The Gateway Malaysia. a.k.a. AirAsia airport terminal. This is the low-cost airport terminal in Kuala Lumpur .
It used to not look like this the first time I went to KL, they have this LCC terminal before that is kinda small and not so modern. Now with the recent improvements and a lot of investments, it looked so modern with huge spaces and mall like facilities and establishments inside.
As soon as you arrive the first thing that will greet you is the Duty free shops! Walk a little further and it will take you to the food establishments and shops.
And when you are about to depart, after being checked in the immigration, this is what you’ll see!
There’s lounges for your convenience it all depends what you are looking for.
The KLIA2 Terminal is fairly new and still in the works but as it is right now, it is already functional and looking good. Tourist awaiting their flight were comfortably lounging at some corners
Saw this huge billboard plastered at unfinished establishment in the airport and posed.
I blended really well! Hahahaha!
It takes almost 2 hours to get to the city of Kuala Lumpur from the airport, that is minus the
horrid traffic in KL I experienced there on a Friday!
The best mode of transport is via train! The KLIA Transit or KTM Komuter!
Welcome to the train station
It is easy to get lost in there my dear. Depends on where your going you can use the train on the left, the right or the center!
Let’s pose first I like that big thingamajigs, kinda like the Central Station. Oh wait it is the Sentral Station Malaysia!
I like this structure above!
Now where do I go from here?
Maybe I should go there?
Here we go!
Nuninuninu!
Left the terminal safely now the taxi terminal hehe
Now it’s time to hail a taxi or teksi in Malaysian
Hmmmm looks like it’s gonna be as hard as getting one in Manila
I wonder how long should I stand here
Maybe I should cross the street like those locals
Joke lang! My hotel is really just across the street!
