Melvin Lachica, presented gowns that were inspired by Pablo Picasso’s art The Boy With the Pipe last Friday, May 29, during the Grand Allure show at the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday ’09. His designs resonates with blue springs eternaltimeless elegance of flowing trapeze gowns and jumpsuits, ensembles bedecked with whimsical beadwork, bows, fringes, taffeta, satin and jersey play in the myriad hues of blues from aqua to sky, teal to ink, to midnight.
