Fifty Shades of Grey Official Cast: Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson

Speculations are finally over! Earlier, Monday night September 2, 2013 Labor day in U.S. to be exact, Fifty Shades of Gray author EL James finally announced the official cast to play Christian Grey and Anastacia Steel.

“I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.” An hour later, she posted: “The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.” EL James said in her Twitter status.

Of course we need a pic of him shirtless!Dakota Johnson is an actress/model and was a star in a short-lived sitcom at FOX channel.

I always imagined Anastacia as brunette so here’s a pic of her dark haired

I’ve been rooting for Ian Somerhalder and Emma Watson or Nina Dobrev but I think it was a wise decision and good choices of character as fresher face will give a fresher approach of the characters.   Charlie HUnnam and Dakota Johnson will star in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey and is expected to be shown by August 2014!
