The vibe? Electric. The energy? Unstoppable. From brilliant student inventors to passionate advocates for education, everyone brought their A-game to the 10th Philippine Robothon and the 2nd STEAM Education Conference, recently held at National University – Nazareth School, Manila.
Organized by First Eduspec Inc. (FEI)—the country’s top tech-ed solutions provider—and Rex Education, the Philippines’ leading academic publisher, this back-to-back event wasn’t just a competition or a conference—it was a movement toward a smarter, more innovative Philippines.
Robothon 2025: Where Robotics Meets Real-World Impact
What's Inside
This year’s theme, “D.I.G.I.T.B.A.Y.A.N.: Pagyabong ng Kaalaman, Pag-angat ng Bayan”, set the stage for 138 teams from 38 schools to flex their brainpower, coding skills, and creative genius.
The competition had two categories:
-
Mini Robot Challenge – focused on food security. Students used tech to tackle one of the nation’s most pressing issues.
-
Innovative Open Category – where teams pitched high-impact ideas around inclusive education, AI for business efficiency, sustainable agri-tech, and disaster response. If tech could solve it, they were on it.
