Date Night Movie Review

If you are looking for a fun and funny movie that will make you laugh your ass off,  I suggest you head to the theaters on April 9, 2010 because Date Night staring Steve Carell and Tina Fey will be showing nationwide.

I was able to watch the Date Night premiere tonight and it gave me a helluva laughs, it is truly a hilarious film that is suited for mature audiences although MTRCB gave it a PG13.

There are lots of profane language in the film that parents would not want their children to learn, or rather a lot of  double meaning language you don’t want your kids to use.  So,  I suggest leave the kids at home if you plan to watch this movie and have a date night with your husband,  wife, boyfriend,  girlfriend or friends.  I believe you will enjoy the movie more if you are with a mature audience who can grasp the humor of the film and not ask you mom what is the “F” word?  Or ask what is a mother “effer?

Steve Carell and Tina Fey’s  chemistry is perfect.  Their execution of the punchline and timing is great.  Marc Wahlberg showed a lot of skin which the ladies will enjoy.  For the guys there’s Gal Gadot, gadgets,  cars and guns to feast on.

The movie is based on a married couple’s dilemma and daily grind which makes it easier for most people to relate.

Oh a tip: Don’t leave your seat until the credits roll out there’s more to see 🙂  Will I-Am has a cameo in the movie too btw.

Date Night movie synopsis:

In “Date Night,” Carell and Fey portray a suburban married couple who venture into the heart of Manhattan for a romantic date intending to spice up their relationship. But the unsuspecting Phil (Carell) and Claire (Fey) get more than their fair share of thrills following a case of mistaken identity. Becoming embroiled in the city’s criminal underworld, they find themselves on a wild, high-risk and hilarious adventure.
