The news got here late but still I would like to share to everyone how P&G, being the proud sponsor of the 2012 London Games, have been taking care of the moms of the Olympians who were there to support their children. For the London Olympics this year, P&G brought over 60 moms from around the world to witness the opening ceremony and give them the best beauty and pampering treatments they could ever have.
The complimentary treatment is a part of the P&G Thank You Mom Campaign as they believe that behind every amazing athlete there is an even more amazing mom. The beauty treat include professional haircut and color from Wella Professionals, party styling from Pantene, grooming from head&shoulders, Gillette and Braun, skin consultations from Olay, and a makeup session and patriotic nail art from Max Factor.
“Behind every amazing athlete is an even more amazing Mom, and P&G are dedicated to supporting Moms of Olympians, as well as inspiring the rest of the world to say ‘Thank You Mom’ for everything they do, on a daily basis. Pampering and beauty treatments are a great way for Moms to unwind and get ready, and we’re really proud to welcome Moms of Olympians to the P&G Salon at The Wella Studio.” said Marc Pritchard, Global Brand Building Officer at P&G.
Both the P&G Family Home and the P&G Salon at The Wella Studio are part of the P&G ‘Thank You Mom’ Campaign, which celebrates and honors not just Moms of Olympians, but Moms everywhere for their hard work, support and inspiration. The P&G Family Home provides Olympians and their families with a ‘home away from home’ to spend quality time together during the Olympic Games, as well as communal viewing areas to relax and meet families of athletes from all over the world, internet access and complimentary restaurants. The P&G Salons will provide free beauty, grooming and hairstyling treatments to Olympians, their Moms and families throughout the Games. In total, the P&G Salons will offer up to 25,000 treatments over the course of the Games – that’s 25,000 opportunities for P&G to say “thank you”.
Isn’t this nice?
How about you, how do you say Thank You to your MOms?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
