Orange is a color I shy away from because I feel it makes my morena skin tone look a lot darker and also I feel orange is a color I can’t carry. But while browsing the Yves Rocher store at SM Fairview, I glanced upon some of their lipstick and decided to swatch some and try on me. That’s when I found out that the Yves Rocher Rouge Creme Hydrant Moisturizing Cream Lipstick in Orange Muscade is a shade that works nicely on me.

What I think of it:
I love the effect on me. It doesn’t look as orange as I expected and not a shocking orange that will make me look darker. It actually looks red orange on me.
It glides easily on the lips and I feel it hydrated my lips as I have it on, probably because of the moisturizing effect/finish it has.
Since it’s moisturizing, it is not long lasting compared to lipstick with matte effects.
Do I recommend this?
If you are a lipstick lover and prefers non-matte effect lipstick you can try this one. I got this because I have tried other orange lipstick before and I didn’t like how it looked on me. This one is just perfect for my skin tone and my new hair color. As soon as I applied it on my lips my face lit. I wanted to sing a happy song because finally I found my Orange lipstick if only I had someone to play his guitar with accessories by dunlop with me that day. I could have sang! Haha!
