Eat before you pray, that was what people from my decade used to do.   But now, its shoot before you eat!

Its really crazy and amazing where the digital age has taken all of us.  According to Mashable,  food related photos—preparing the food, fresh from the oven/caserole, devouring the food and even the aftermath — rates highest on the most favorite photo subject on Instagram.  I am sure you are as guilty as I am with regards to this addicting virtual food sharing.

Personally, I can’t help it sometimes, because it is either the food I am about to devour is so picture perfect, or because the food I just consumed is so delicious that I just have to let everyone know about it so they can maybe include it on their menu to try  the next time to go on a food trip.

Electrolux Discover-E Food Festival let’s consumers discover Electrolux kitchen appliances through new flavors and tastes Filipinos will surely love. The food festival, scheduled for June 15 – 16,2013 at the NBC Tent, will feature different food vendors selling Filipino food, cooking demos by celebrity chefs, little chef apprentice cooking workshops, cooking challenge for culinary students, live entertainment, raffles, and games.

In line with this,  Electrolux’s Discover-E campaign icludes  the Discover-E Web Series. The Discover-E Web Series will teach avid home cooks easy ways to do Neo-Filipino dishes which they can prepare and enjoy in their own kitchen. Chef Bruce Lim and Chef Rosebud Benitez, Electrolux’s celebrity chefs, will showcase the delicacies of different regions of the Philippines per episode through these instructional 10-minute YouTube videos.
