If there’s one Philippine made nail polish brand I know, it’s Caronia. Even before I learned how to be “kikay” Caronia is already there I can even hear the tune of their old jingle from the 1980’s in my mind each time I hear the name of the brand. And a little throwback of course who can also forget the classic Tropang Trumpo doing their chicken dance Caronia…Chicken! Remember?
Last night, Caronia, the nail polish brand that caters to the modern Filipinas, launched The Sound of Color campaign which highlights the brands 72 bright and trendy new shades as a tool that can allow women to express themselves and embody the dynamism of the different genres of modern sound. The campaign will kick of with the call for entry to their jingle making contest inviting bands with 5 members to create their own rendition of the latest Caronia Jingle as performed by Grace Note during the event.
“As a pioneering and time-tested nail care brand of the hip and trendy, we believe that color’s timeless and universal appeal can be great way to empower women to be confident enough to share their passions, carve their own path, and eventually change the world, by channeling creativity in expressing their true self,” said Olivia Soria, Caronia Brand Manager.
Meanwhile at the event held at the Hexagon Lounge of RCBC Tower in Makati, a showcase of color and sound was held with different boudoirs displaying pegs of Pop, Alternative and Rock. Attendees were invited to have a nailart done with a theme depending on the music genre they selected. Each guest can also select from any of the box of the Pop,Rock, and Alternative theme to take home with them as souvenirs.
