Crumpler Flagship Store Opening @ EDSA Shangri-la Mall

If you are a backpacker or a photo enthusiast I bet you know of Crumpler, you know the bag brand for people who know how to live!   Yesterday, they opened their flagship store in EDSA Shangri-la Mall East Wing.  This flagship store was designed by architecture firm Ryan and George all the way from the land down-under! – Australia!

Crumpler bags is popular among backpackers and photographers because of their highly durable, water resistant, functional bags and they can take the wear and tear of travelling and heavy loads! Crumpler used was a product of a man named Stu Crumpler who likes to carry with him beer cans whenever he is on a biking trip with friends. His bag caught the attention of a bike messenger company owner Will Miller and Dave Roper and asked Crumpler to re-engineer the bags and make it to a backpack for their bike messengers people started asking more of the bag so they turned it to this successful bag business and the rest is history!

The event also was to debut Crumplers new Outpost Project Series, the Ludicrous Debacle ,the Proud Stash and the Horror Series.

But what I’m looking forward to is the launch of Crumpler’s Women’s Collection!

I also love the Crumpler luggage,I was impressed by how it was able to withstand the pressure of careless packing that we did at the event and it was able to carry more than 13 kilos of travel essentials we forced to fill the crumpler luggage! Unfortunately me and my partner Ross of Whats Up Pinas did not win the contest but these two mother packers did! Haha!

But then again there are no losers in this event, they gave away a backpack to all the attendees (the yellow one) and I won a lovely Tote (the gray,red,blue) from the raffle! Yes I won another raffle! Woot!
