Philips Satinelle Epilator: For Tiis Ganda Moments

“Behind everything beautiful, there has been some kind of pain.”- Unknown

Few years back, I wished for an epilator so I don’t have to go to a waxing salon and swallow my embarassment along with the pain of paying to get my unwanted hair removed.  Have you heard of the Philips Satinelle Epilator?

I bet you all have heard of the term “Tiis Ganda” and I bet as a woman, you all went through and are going through some kind of tiis ganda moments in your everyday life. One of the tiis ganda moments you have is getting rid of unwanted hairs. Can I mention waxing, threading, IPL or laser hair removal treatments.

One session for waxing at a decent salon for hairy legs is around Php1,200 , waxing for pitts is around Php500 to Php800, bikini area waxing around Php1,500 or more. All that cost is just for one session that if you are the hairy type you need to visit at least twice a day month.

What I think of it?

If you are a first time user, it can be very intimidating. I admit, just hearing the sound of the Philips Satinelle Epilator chickened me out. I got really scared that it might hurt. But well, having your hair pulled at a waxing salon hurtst too. So it all depends on your pain tolerance. So Tiis Ganda Moment lang!

Take a look at this:

The noise from the device makes it sound a lot more painful than it should, but surprisingly it was not painful as I expected. It did sting.
I tried it on my bikini area for a few swipe and well it hurts! My bad though because it was not meant to be used there. So don’t dare try using this epilator meant for legs only on your bikini area or else! Haha! You’ve been warned.
Surprisingly it did a good job removing unwanted hair and it leaves the skin smooth and hairless.

Philips Satinelle Epilator

Suggested retail price is Php2,699.00. It can be found at your favorite beauty supplies stores like Watsons. Philips Satinelle Epilator has other models for the bikini area and they have other models with shavers too.

Would you give this a try?  Let me know, I might give it to a random reador who leaves a comment in this post.

Stay gorgeous everyone!

Yeah, the sound is very intimidating like, do I really want to use it! But I did and it was not as scary as the first swipe #tiisganda lang talaga though haha!

  4. First time to hear about an epilator. Probably coz I’m not into removing hair (heck, who is?). Anyhow, I still want to try this no matter how painful the sound suggests. Hello, tiis-ganda moments! 😀
