Lemon and Honey Scrub

Both the constituent parts of this scrub are well known for their unique properties, and how they combine to make a potent cleansing and moisturizing amalgamation! However, this is not the extent of their benefits, since the lemon juice washes away dead cells from the top layer of akin, while the honey brightens the skin and provides a protective layer against UV rays.

To make the scrub, simply mix together one tablespoon of lemon juice, two tablespoons of honey, one tablespoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of sugar. Gently apply to relatively cleansed skin and rub slowly, making sure to cover the entire face, with no skin left untreated. Leave on for several minutes and gently rinse off the scrub with lukewarm water.

Yogurt, Honey and Coconut Moisturizer

If you have naturally dry skin and want to prevent all of the negative effects of having this skin type, look no further than this mask. It is one of the best moisturizing combos you can get, and it has some incredibly beneficial cleansing properties as well, which work in tandem with the moisturizing.

To make this mask, mix together two tablespoons of Greek yogurt, a tablespoon of dark honey and several drops of coconut oil. You can also use olive oil if you need the Vitamin D kick out of your mask! Apply the mask with a ball of soft cloth or cotton, carefully avoiding the eyes. After 15 minutes, rinse off with warm water and leave to air dry. Banana, Egg and Cider Mask for Oily Skin

If you suffer from oily skin then you probably know the struggles of skincare, day in and day out. Oily skin, in particular excessively oily skin can be quite problematic to manage, since it requires some drastic treatments and lots of patience.

The best way then is to use a face mask made of the finest natural oil reducing ingredients. Here is just such a mask.

To make this, combine an egg white, a ripe banana and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. You can also use orange or lime juice, in place of the apple cider vinegar; although it is better to use the vinegar. Blend the ingredients together and apply the resulting paste on to your skin gently. Do not get this mixture in your eye and leave it on for 10 to 12 minutes. Rinse off gently with lukewarm water and leave the skin to dry naturally.

Honey and Blueberry Scrub

This scrub is beneficial due to the incredible exfoliating and antioxidant properties of the two ingredients. If you are looking for a skin energizer and refresher, look no further. The best part about this scrub is the fruity aroma that you are left with, after application and rinsing.

To make the scrub, mix together 2 tablespoons of dark honey, half a cup of organic blueberries and half a teaspoon of sugar. Apply to the face gently and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. You can also store this scrub in the refrigerator for up to a week.
