Buy or Buy: Lucas Papaw Ointment

I had a tube of Lucas Papaw Ointment since December 2017 . I got it from a box of Xmas gift from my Sampleroom family. I haven’t touched it until last month when I saw how the product was being hyped as the miracle cure-all ointment for insect bites,  callouse,  dry lips and cracked heels etc.

I posted on my social media pages and said I will give it a try.  A lot was waiting for it because the hype is getting to them too and want to try. Even some of my blogger friends say it works.

Where I used it?

I and daughter have dry cracked heels,  so I tried Lucas Papaw for that. I even put socks over and wear it overnight.

Tried using it on my extremely dry and chapped lips , used it day and night and even the middle of the day.

And,  as if I called on the universe to conspire and give it to me so I can try. I got a I insect bite on my arms.  It was very itchy with a big lump. So I tried it there.

Next was my daughter she got multiple insect bites that was really bothersome,  I didn’t know what bit her and how. It happened when I was out-of-town a few weeks ago. When I got back home I saw her bites and  immediately put Lucas Papaw Ointment.

Unfortunately , Lucas Papaw Ointment was all a hype for me:

Daughter and I still got our cracked heels I wanna peel them manually.

My lips are still dry it only gets “undry” and unchoppy when I put the ointment and it melts like vegetable or cooking oil on my lips.

The lump on my insect bite did not ease up until I used water and soap to rince the itchiness off and the swelling eased.  Same goes to my daughter’s bites,  worst she got those dark insect bite marks now.

I also dislike how watery it turns when not in an air-conditioned storage. If you put it on your go to bag constantly and bring it anywhere you go,  with the kind of weather we have it will melt like water like crazy!

Is Lucas Papaw Ointment a Buy or Bye?

It’s BYE for me. For Php349 to almost Php400 a tube of Lucas Papaw Ointment,  is not worth it. Such a waste of money and a tube runs out really fast.  Petroleum Jelly works just the same. Sorry for the fans of this product but I am not convinced. Get petrolrum jelly instead tried and tested and not that expensive! Whoever was the narketing of this brand was a genius to have a cult following worldwide.

How about you have you tried Lucas Papaw yet?  Has it worked miraculously for you or not? Let me know!

Stay gorgeous everyone !
