Asilo Tagaytay – Avida Land’s First Vacation Home Development

I’ve been living in Metro Manila all my life, so whenever I get the chance to have a quick weekend getaway, Tagaytay will always be one of my favorite places.  Aside from just only a few  hours away from the Metro it is one of the coolest destination in the Philippines you can go to.  Tagaytay City is considered as one of the top tourist destination in the country because it has a nice view of one of the World’s Most Active Volcano, Taal Volcano, and a nice view of Taal Lake.   It will be a dream come true if I could actually have a property there, a rest house I can stay every weekend of my life and beyond my retirement age.

Just recenly, Avida  Land invited us what a Monday feels like in Tagaytay.    It was totally different from what it is like in Metro Manila, it was not crowded, or over-populated, there was no traffic jams, it was very peaceful and very country like!   We had lunch at the popular Bag of Beans and had a pampering session at one of the most famous spa haven in the area, Nurture Spa Village .

But before that sweet Monday retreat, we had a stop-over at the location of the soon to rise Asilo Tagaytay –  Avida Land’s first ever vacation home development in the country.

soon to rise Asilo Tagaytay
On this vacant lot (across the famous The Boutique and beside the Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Tagaytay) will rise Asilo Tagaytay, a mixed-use integrated  residential development that will serve as a second home for those who want to enjoy scenic views of Taal Lake and Volcano and the cool, refreshing climate that Tagaytay is famous for.   Asilo is derived from the Tagalog world “silong” which literally means to take shelter. This first vacation home development will have two-mid-rise residential towers and low-rise building .  Compared to other condo units offered in urban areas, Asilo Tagaytay is more spacious and bigger than anywhere else.  Most of the units have balconies so the residents can fully enjoy the view of Taal and Batangas mountain range and the refreshing climate in Taaytay. Asilo Tagaytay offers three condo unit types available:

  •  Studio (22-30 sq.m.) – Php2.0M – Php2.5M
  •  1 Bedroom (40 sq.m.) – Php4.2M – Php4.6M
  •  2 Bedroom (60 sq.m.) – Php6.4M – Php7.5M

Corridor will have breezeways and will have ample space between buildings to allow better cross-ventilation. Roofs are pitched. The size and number of buildings is enough to let residents enjoy the full views and the climate. The architectural design, materials, finishing and landscape are designed to be more reflective and reminiscent of the old Tagaytay – a bit rustic but also contemporary.

For more information about Asilo Tagaytay – your upcoming vacation home please visit avidaland.com or call (+632) 848-5200 (within Metro Manila) or 1-800-10 848-5200 (outside Metro Manila). If I win the lottery soon  I’d buy a 1 or 2 bedroom unit right away! The studio type is perfect for single ladies and bachelors though.

Stay gorgeous everyone!
