Christmas is less than a month away and I am sure you are already thinking about what to cook for the family celebrations and gatherings.
Personally, I like to cook because I love to eat. Plus nobody in the house cooks for me so I am forced to cook myself. While my daughter is OK with the usuals she have, I get so tired of having the same all the time. I eat her leftovers most of the time.
When Century Tuna invited me to join their cooking lessons/cook-off challenge, I did not hesitate. My daughter loves Century Tuna. She can have it everyday. She can have it straight from the can (but I prefer to heat it up for a few minutes, or make adobo).
For the cooking lessons/cook-off we were challenged to make 6 tried and tested dishes from the Century Tuna Culinary Club. We were grouped in 3 teams with 3 team members each meaning we will do 2 dishes individually.
I do not bake ever , so to learn about it I assigned myself to Empanada making and Rice Balls with Risotto Sauce.
While Empanada does jot require baking. The challenege was making the perfect dough! Well well well, I failed, my dough was too dry!
We didn’t win the social media challenge coz the signal sucks and we were too busy learning new dishes to cook for our family! We get to take home Century Tuna products and some Vita Coco as well!
Another bucket list achieved! Making a dough even if it wasn’t a success, well my empanado dpugh was too dry and it was like a croissant bread when it got fried! Happy anyway, maybe I can do better next time if I do it again! Haha!
