What to Find @ Mandala Park Weekend Market #NewMandaluyongInBloom

Mandala Park Weekend Market is another weekend market you can add to your list of places to visit with family and friends. It is a weekend market revolving on a particular theme every month and happens only every third weekend (usually a Saturday) of the month. This February 2016 they partnered with the Philippine Culinary Heritage Movement to hep spread the “love for local” and put a spotlight on merchants who inspire us to love our own culinary heritage. It is also a part of promoting the #NewMandaluyongInBloom showcasing the new places and things to do in Mandaluyong City.

Mandala Park is the former Litton & Company textile center known as Liberty Center and is now turned into a 3.2 hectare eco-friendly sustainable living community property along Shaw Boulevard going to Manila.

Aside from the food and merchadise there is also live bands performing at the Mandala Park weekend market , it was Philippine Popular Music Festival alum Keiko Necesario who was there when we visited and you can actually hear them on the background of my video above.

I’ve been a resident of Mandaluyong for almost two years and this city is surprising me with new places and things to do everyday. This will be the second weekend market around the area.
