But then again, no matter how you view wishing wells and the magic of wishes, pennies can mean hope or inspiration to someone who otherwise would have none at that moment. Those magical pennies have the power within them to change a persons life, and more importantly, to change a persons attitude toward their life.
A penny is the cost of a wish, and for most people, not a lot to pay for a dream that might come true.
