I was born and raised in Metro Manila, in fact I have never been to my parents hometown provinces up North of Luzon (I’ve been everywhere but never their provinces pretty ironic seriously!). Honestly, I cannot imagine myself living away from the city, away from the comforts and convinience of having everything I need and want within my reach, plus, my work and everyone I know are all here, why would I move away from Metro Manila?
Our family home is at the border of North Caloocan and Quezon City, while it is still part of Metro Manila, it will take me four hours to commute roundrip to the center of business here in the Metro and home. Luckily, we acquired a property at the heart of Metro Manila where eveyhting is just 5 minutes away from me by car or tops 30 minutes walking time! Again, why would I move away from Metro Manila.
There’s other property type like the Dolce, a duplex with 75 sqm lot each and the Amore, the single detached unit with 99 sqm lot each, again all unit type has its own mini garden !
This means you can actually gaze upon the midnight sky and count stars which is what I used to do back when I was a child!
So again you ask, why would I move away from Metro Manila?
To avoid the traffic, the congestion, the pollution , breathe fresh air, live next to nature, experience garden living, have my own house and lot , and to see the beauty of the night sky!
But then again, I will consider this as my retirement home, for now while I’m at the peak of my age and career, Metro Manila living is still my best option. But for a retirement home and maybe a weekend Holiday vacation home, now is the best time to buy a Terraza de Sto. Tomas property by Ovialand. It is a good investment. Our two bedroom unit condo is about P4M! Plus it will be very expensive to buy such type of property in Metro Manila this days. Anyway, you have the option to buy via bank financing or through PAG-IBIG, it’s no biggy really.
As for commuting problems to Metro Manila, maybe Terraza de Sto. Tomas could arrange for service at interval schedules to and from Metro Manila so as there’s an option in case the owner doesn’t own a car or doesn’t drive, like me. What’s 3 hours roundtrip via expressway compared to being stuck in the sucky Metro Manila congested streets because of horrendous traffic right? If all this in place, nothing can ever stop me from moving away from Manila and live in Terraza de Sto. Tomas in Batangas. (Facundo ang tseke, i-cash na yan!)
If you want to inqure about the Terraza de Sto. Tomas property you may visit their Facebook www.facebook.com/terrazadestotomasofficial turn-over will start in April 2016!
How about you, what will make you move away from the city?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
