I Dare To Get Total (Oral) Care With Listerine (Week 1)

What’s a beautiful face without a beautiful smile and what’s a beautiful smile without a beautiful set of pearly whites to flaunt.

I’d have to gather tons of confidence like this man to pull it off.

… or I could get the habit of giving my mouth the best care it deserves?

Well, I choose option two as I signed up for another challenge.    I,  along with Drew Arrellano , Listerine Mouthwash ambassador, along  with a couple other bloggers and dentist dare to take on the 6 weeks Listerine Total Care Mouthwash Challenge.

The challenge will take us to a 6-week journey towards achieving the six essential signs of a healthy mouth with this new purple mouthwash the Listerine Total Care.

Week 1: Pre-Dental Check Up at any Villareal Dental Clinic Branch (check)

Each of the challengers were asked to go through a Pre-Dental checkup so they can assess our total oral health and see the improvements we will get after using the Listerine Total Care mouthwash in a period of 6 weeks.

I went to the Global City Branch of Villareal Dental Clinic and I love how fun and friendly the staff and dentist were . During the pre-dental checkup, each of my teeth was checked for cavities, tartar, plaque, odor,  even my gums and breath was  assessed. Honestly, it was the first time I had such a total mouth health assessment .

They used a chart that indicates the state of your teeth, if its clean, good, bad or worst. Zero (0) to 2 means your teeth are in tip-top shape, 3-5 means you need to take your oral health care seriously.

I’m glad I mostly got 0’s with a few 1’s, 2’s and some 3’s which means my teeth is okay.

The dentist said generally, my upper teeth are in good condition with a minor problems at my lower teeth (backside) that has some tartar deposits. However, I should not be alarmed as this kind of deposits behind the teeth near the tongue is very common and can be addressed with a regular cleaning only your dentist can provide.

Having said that, this will be my target for the Listerine Total Care. Do you think I will be able to get rid of these deposits in my mouth in 6 weeks time?

So everyone can relate to what I am aiming for, this is the part of my mouth that needs to be improved within 6 weeks time:

I will be using this challenger kit they gave to me during the launch of Total Care at Oceana Restaurant in Pasay to achieve my goal

I just need to get into the habit of doing the BFR BFR (Brush, Floss and Rinse) right. They recommend that I BFR at least twice a day, with at least two minutes on the brushing and 30 seconds with the rinsing with the Listerine Total Care mouthwash .
