I got my Globe Tattoo Prepaid Broadband last July because I want a back-up internet connection in case my other post paid internet service provider failed me which happen most of the time. However I was kind of disappointed about how slow it was and how it eats up my load a lot. What I did was asked around people who have been using it and are very much satisfied with its performance and I learned a few tricks to be able to use it efficiently.
One thing you can do is to set your Globe Tattoo Broadband to search for 3G only preferred network. You can find this at your Globe Tattoo Connections Menu . You will see this at the Tools Tab then click Options then Network and choose 3G only. (Tools > Options > Network)
It is also best to set your browsing preference to time-based charging rather than kb-based. Time-based charge is Php5 every 15 minutes while KB-based charge Php 0.05 cents per kb. So if your loading Facebook for example which is 18.45 a page you will be charged almost Php 1 per page viewed contrary to Php 5 every 15 minutes browsing via time-based charging. I used time based whenever I browse using my Globe Tattoo. It’s more economical.
Oh, by the way, for creative people out there Globe has this on-going opportunity for everyone to design their own Globe Tattoo Broadband USB skins. All you have to do is design your own skins upload them at the Globe Tattoo Broadband Gallery and get a change to win Php5,000 plus be able to see your work produced on to actual Globe Tattoo USB skins.
Anyway, have you seen the latest commercial and the billboard of Globe Tattoo YOUniverse? Who would have thought that Sarah Geronimo can be fierce like that! I think she looks gorgeously hot in the commercial and billboard.
