Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Movie Review

Another movie that is best suited for kids, especially those who are in the transition from child to teenager, is out, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

The movie does not boast of high tech graphics and stuff but after seeing the movie it doesn’t surprise me why it won the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards over the “Harry Potter” and “Twilight”.

Diary of a Wimpy kid discusses issues a “tweener” may have in his transition years. I recommend parents to have their kids watch this movie because it teaches great values, although some may not be applicable to Philippine viewers as it talks about middle school which we don’t have. Nonetheless the values it teaches and will able to impart on kids is highly recommendable.

I like the simple graphics they used for the movie , the matchsticks cartoons. It’s just like in the book the movie was based on.  Zachary Gordon who plays Greg Heffley is really good, he is very well suited for the role.  Same as the other actors and actresses in the movie like Robert Capron who plays Rowley Jefferson, Greg’s best friend in the movie.

And oh, another new expression for you ” Zoo Wee-Mama!”

Here is more information about the Diary of A Wimpy Kid.
