SM City North Edsa, Sky Garden, Night at The Museum and Mossimo Bikini Open

I had the one of the funnest day today at the largest mall in the Philippines and the second largest mall in the world, SM City North EDSA. Thanks to the very accommodating top executives of SM Supermalls headed by Ms. Annie Garcia Shopping Center Management Corporation (SCMC) President ; Mr. Bien Mateo Assistant Vice President for Operations ; Ms. Millie Dizon Vice President for Marketing and Communications; Ms. Ruby Reyes Assistant Vice President for Business Development Group; Ms. Karla Viray Marketing Manager-Special Events; Architect Renee Bacani Mall Manager; Ms. Joanne Abrogar Cyberzone Operations Magaer; Kurt Soliman Marketing Manager; and Lizanor Dizon SM Cinema Theater Manager.

SM Management invited select bloggers to have a first look at their latest innovation when it comes to family entertainment, leisure and recreation places the Sky Garden. Sky Garden is what the SM City North EDSA dubs as the shoppers own corner of the sky and will be open for public starting Friday, May 29. The formal press introduction of the Sky Garden will be held on Monday, May 25.

Sky Garden is an elevated curvilinear park at the second floor of the former parking lot offering much needed green space . It buffers the mall from the busy EDSA intersection, and serves as a living, organic link between the different components of the Block, The City Center and The Annex composing the SM City North EDSA.

The main attractions of the Sky Garden are the Roof  Garden, the Sky Dome, and the water features that  include two bubblers, a simulated river flowing at the  center and waterfalls at the edge of the second floor. Then we had lunch at Padi’s Point and a fun trivia game was held. GC’s from ProLine and Padi’s Point gimmick passes were given in the game. The attendees were given the SM recyclable designer bag a GC from Mossimo and more gimmick passes.

After that we were taken for a movie date where we watch The Night At The Museum 2! Oh what a great laugh-out-loud movie!

We were suppose to bird watch at 5:30PM but probably because there were so many people at the Sky Garden when we got out from the theater the birds didn’t came. So instead we had fun taking pics of the people enjoying the new hang-out place.

Oh, we met Director Fritz Infante who directed the Mossimo Bikini Open and we were invited to watch the show. I didn’t go because I had mommy duties. Anyway we met Direct Fritz Infante and had photo ops with him and a little chat. He even joked if he was in any of the 40 Hayden Kho’s video scandals and if we were gonna blog about him. Fun guy. He doesn’t look like he was harassed at all for all the work he was doing that day.
