A Preview To Summer 2010 With The Havaianas Flip Float

Last Sunday was unlike no other Sunday, the sun was shinning beautifully and I was clad in my summery outfit with my daughter. We were on our way to Powerplant Mall at Rockwell in Makati upon the invitation of Geiser Maclang for miryenda at Dulcinea for a preview to  summer 2010 thingy.

There was no traffic, we reached our destination in less than 15 minutes. This was such a surprise since usually it takes more than an hour or two to get to Makati from Quezon City. I guess this is going to be a good day full of pleasant surprise.

I hailed the waiter at Dulcinea to ask for some water, the waiter was pleasant and brought the water I ordered for everyone. I felt embarrassed when I realized he was not a real waiter of the restaurant but some theater actor there to surprise us with a summer musical.

He was part of the “flash mob” kinda group that were scattered all over the lower ground floor of Powerplant that day surprising people of their super fun summery musical performance with the enormous Havaianas Flip Float inviting everyone to dive in to summer and have fun and head to the beach.

The musical was fun and inviting. They made me wanna head the beach immediately and try out that super cool Havainas Flip Float with my daughter.   They really gave me the preview to summer 2010 I want to have.  I can already feel the fresh of summer breeze blowing against my hair, I can smell the fresh scent of the ocean, and my toes are curling feeling the texture of the sand. Yes, its summer indeed!
