I’ve personally seen how other GPS navigation works, they are very impressive except some can’t read anything when you are under a fly-over or a tunnel, while some can’t read the one-way or blocked roads in the Philippines. This one is different.
Last Thursday, I attended the launch of Vector, a portable GPS Navigation System that does not only give you directions to your point of interest (POI) but can also work as an MP3, movie player, photo viewer, and FM radio. It also has Bluetooth which enables you to receive your calls hands-free with your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone and micro SD card slot.
The event happened at the Jaguar showroom in Makati, a perfect venue to try this posh device , posh yet not so expensive device. Yes, the Vector Portable GPS Navigation V100 is sold at Php13,900 only!
I love this device because its bigger than the usual auto GPS Navigation (as big as an iPhone) so you don’t have to worry about missing a turn and if you missed to see the signs the voice prompt will tell you anyway.
Its also packed with games, multimedia functions, and other features that make it an all-around lifestyle must have. Packaged in a sleek, scratch-proof casing, this nifty pocket-sized road guide keeps you entertained during pit stops.
The map used for this system is by Accu-maps that is very much updated compared to the other GPS mapping systems (that still has Payanig sa Pasig in their map!). You get a free map update every 3 months for a year when you purchase.
Here’s more of the technical specs of Vector 100:
Now, if I was driving I’d definitely get me one of these so I won’t be one of the women in the world who is bad with direction. Its one of the gadgets I consider very useful and practical to have.
Stay gorgeous everyone!
