Kanebo Cosmetics Kate Eye Shadow DB Review

I was planning on wearing a tan wide-legged pants and a black top today but since it was raining cats and dogs outside, and its already flooded in most parts of Metro Manila, I decided to stay home and just play with the makeup I have that is waiting to be reviewed.

To pair the outfit I was gonna wear today I thought of using the Kanebo Cosmetics Kate Eye Shadow DB BR-1 (bronze or brown) shade that was sent to me couple of weeks ago.

On My Eyes

I tried recreating how they applied the makeup from the Kanebo by Kate website and I think I did good

What I think of it?

  • Since the shade I got was nearly close to my skin tone I needed to apply the shade more than usual so as to make it pop-out and I can take clearer pictures of how it looks like.
  • It looks too pearlize/shimmery/shiny on the photos but they look very nice in person, the shimmer effect is just right and not too overpowering.
  • The shade I got is good to use if you are going to use loud colored lipstick to tone down/balance your look like what I did here:

Personally, I think its a bit expensive to be retailed at Php780.00 (at all SM Malls) as there are other more popular cosmetic brands selling almost the same shade and last much longer than this. I think the packaging made it that expensive?

How about you, do you think you will try this product or buy something else?

Stay gorgeous everyone?
