Transformers: Dark of the Moon reminded me of the first two movies. The first one-fourth part of the movie was a bit of a drag, I guess that’s how it is when you are trying to build-up the plot. However, the rest of the movie make up for it. The action sequence was superb and exciting! Effects and graphics was great and eye-popping. Lots of laugh-out-loud breath-taking moments too.
One of my favorite part was the action/chase scene with Sam Witwicky and Bumble Bee it was so hilarious and amazing at the same time. Great job Michael Bay you did it again!
I thought I’d miss Megan Fox but I didn’t. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley did a fair job and I love her British accent!
Some of the action scenes were kinda confusing though, like there was the Decepticons and Autobots encounter where the other side of the city showed a lot of people running and screaming for their lives because of the chaos, then when the camera panned at another angle the place was a ghost town!
Thinking of it now the timeline confused me. Was this the present or during Chernobyl Nuclear Power plant breakdown in 1986. I hope so because I somehow remember watching the Transformers cartoons back then when I was still in grade school.
Anyway, its a great movie that Transformer fans will definitely love, people who love conspiracy theories will love the movie too as it linked the Apollo 11 first flight to the moon as a cover-up for a different NASA mission at the dark side of the moon!
Characters:
Familiar and important human characters in the Transformers movie were still there Shia LaBeouf is still, Josh Duhamel is still Lennox, the funny and obsessed with alien and conspiracy character of John Turturro as Simmons is back, even Tyrese Gibson as Epps was back! The new additions were Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Carly Spencer, Sam’s new girlfriend with class and Patrick Dempsey as the super ao Dylan Gould Carly’s boss and Sam’s opponent.
Movie info:
Sam Witwicky is on a struggle to get his first job after college and was trying to be someone who matters again. He lives with his new gf Carly Spencer who works for a super rich envy-worthy boss Dylan Gould. Meanwhile, the Autobots are in alliance with the U.S. government helping them keep the peace within the human race until the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant meltdown that revealed the long relation and discovery of the FBI U.S. Secret Service of the existence of Cybertron that later on revealed a heroic Autobot, Sentinel Prime who went in allegiance with Megatron to trick Optimus Prime to revive him and bring Cybertron to Earth .
I will definitely watch it again, hopefully in 3D next time! Thanks to Nuffnang Philippines and PLDT MyDSL Watchpad for the invite! I enjoyed my date with Optimus Prime lolz! I also enjoyed seeing blogger friends I haven’t seen in awhile. It was also fun watching a movie with dapattylaurel and her beau and the entire Nuffnang PH family! Kudos to you all!
My bad-ass movie date! Don’t mess with me or he will slice and dice you! No mercy! LOLOLZ!
