When I was still in school and computers/ android phones/ iPhone/ iPad were not that of a big part of our lives, I used to keep a handy datebook/ planner/ diary with me everyday and everywhere I go. This is so I can keep tabs on my agenda for the day and to keep note of my expenses, income and savings.
When internet and cellphones and android phones came, this part of keeping a journal and datebook was set aside. I rely on my google date and appointment notes on my mobile device. The problem was when I go lo bat or there’s poor internet service, I lose track of my appointments which is not good.
Then there came this bulky “uso” planners like BDJ and Starbucks. I used to have them but never get to maximize its use. For one they are too heavy and bulky, its not cool to bring too big a “notebook” anywhere. Small and light is in.
When I was approached to review Filed planner/ datebook/ diary, I was excited as soon I got my hands on them. Its think, light and inspires the artsy-fartsy part of me!
It’s hardbound but the paper is lightweight and not so bulky!
Matte finished and hardbound. I love that it has this velcro leather strap wrap (Pen Bandolier) and the bookmark to keep your Filed 2012 planner together and a holder for your pen and colored pencils!

What I really liked about the Filed 2012 Doodle Datebook is that I’m GOING TO USE EVERYTHING IT HAS. As a student, I personally need to organize my schedule and provide time to my starting business. Ofcourse, I also got Goals short term, and long term. and Restaurants to Try, Places to Visit, and most importantly “Books to Read” for releasing stress and self improvement.
And your MOOD INDICATOR IS AWESOME! HAHA!!! plus the savings i’m gonna have for the month. I really need to make a habit of saving. Thanks!!!

I like all the features of this planner. But what I like best is the “Monthly summary of events.” As a med student, I can use this to keep track of all the exams, reports and all the other deadlines that I have to beat. ^_^

I like the fact that this planner is fresh, jampacked with features, and not overrated as most planners out there. 😉 I also like that the added extras such as doodling pages and bucket lists make organizing your tasks much more fun. 🙂

What I liked about the Filed 2012 planner is that just seeing the COVER makes me curious of what fun features it has in store for the buyers. I was not disappointed to see that from the first page until the back cover; I will fill every single space with colors and doodles that will help me make it through boring classes, remember fun events and birthdays, and day to day activities.
The feature that i really like the most is the restaurants to try because i really love searching for new cake shops and cool restaurants. The monthly cover doodles also captured my attention. Makes me remember to write and look at what will be happening for a particular month. And besides, coloring some coloring books are a guilty pleasure of mine 🙂

I really like the peculiarity of this planner! I can track down my expenses when I’m on a budget. I can doodle anything in any manner I want when Im down, or happy or moody! (hehehe!) And most of all, I can write whatever happened on that day plus a mood indicator where I can draw my own face! ( a good way to start being an artist! hehehe!). I really like to have this quirky planner so that once in a while, I can read all my writings and see how I mature everyday.
